This is my first time at Tavern in the Square. We ordered the buffalo cauliflower which was fantastic. Enough for three for an appetizer. I had a Tavern Burger. It was perfectly cooked as I asked medium rare. Nice and thick. Very good. My son and future daughter-in-law enjoyed their burgers and chicken sandwich respectfully. We all took a to-go box home. Server was very friendly. A bit noisy, but it is a sports bar so that would be expected. I would go to Tavern in the Square again. Recommend.
I’ve been here a few times before, but I have to say my last experience there this past weekend has been the best so far. We had an amazing server that was very attentive and the food was amazing. Honestly thank you John V for your suggestions. That bayou chicken pasta was amazing. If you come here, please try the bang bang broccoli you will not be disappointed. There was some breading solely, but still that sauce was great. Ask for John V you wont be disappointed.
Ohhh my my my, you must try the Buffalo Cauliflower and Cornflake Fried Chicken Tenders with Bang Bang sauce! Soooooo good. Everyone is so friendly. The ambiance is really nice... like an elevated pub/Tavern. Not only will you eat some delicious food, you won't break the bank to do so!
I had bang bang fried cauliflower, Mango margarita. I love that the menu is very customizable as I am vegetarian! The food actually tastes like food and not frozen food! Our waiter Aiden was awesome very friendly. Prices are decent great atmosphere!
The service here was amazing! Our server really knew her stuff, was really attentive, and gave great suggestions. I loved all the appetizers. They have a lot of vegetarian friendly menu items. The drinks were delicious. The cornflakes chicken tenders with honey Sriracha sauce, BBQ chicken pizza, fish tacos, and bang bang broccoli were fantastic.

Tavern in The Square is our favorite restaurant from afar because we had the location in Boston and fell in love with it. We took a road trip to CT just to get our favorite gluten free foods. Tavern is awesome due to the variety of gluten free options for my spouse. Our go-to is the delicious dilly taste fried pickles. Wings with honey siracha on the side (didn’t want to get sloppy that day lol) Cornflake Fried Chicken Tenders with Bang Bang sauce on the side is the way to go, if you haven’t fried chicken for awhile. I’ve given this location 4 stars because they were out of fish and chips and that just means we will make another roadtrip!
